About this little corner
I keep this page as a sketchbook in public — loose notes on pigments, paper and the slow business of learning to paint water. Nothing here is for sale; it is simply where I think out loud between sessions.
What I'm working through
- Granulating blues on rough cold-press paper
- Wet-in-wet skies without losing the horizon
- Mixing convincing greys from only three primaries
A few notes to self
Less water than you think. Tilt the board. Let the first wash dry fully before the second. And walk away from a painting before you ruin it.
